1. Who we are
Designers Popup is a retail store located at 9475 Meilleur St, Suite 101, Montreal, Quebec H2N 2C5. We liquidate duty-free quality surplus from major brands, in store, on weekends.
2. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
The owner of Designers Popup acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question or request: info@designerspopup.com.
3. Information we collect
When you join our VIP list (through the website form or the QR code in store), we collect only: your first name, your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number. We also record the date, the source and the content of your consent in order to keep proof of it, as required by law.
4. Why we collect it
For one purpose only: sending you our communications about new arrivals, promotions and special openings (approximately 4 messages per month), by email and, if you consented separately, by text message (SMS). This collection is based on your express consent, given through checkboxes unchecked by default.
5. Sharing with third parties
Your information is never sold or shared for marketing purposes. It may be processed by our technical providers (website hosting, email/SMS platform), who only access it to deliver those services. Our servers may be located outside Quebec (Canada or the European Union); we choose providers offering equivalent protections.
6. Retention period
Your information is kept as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, it is deleted no later than 12 months after your withdrawal, allowing time to process your request and keep proof of the withdrawal.
7. Security
Information is stored in a secure database, accessible only to the owner, protected by password and transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
8. Your rights
You may at any time: access the information we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or request its deletion. Write to info@designerspopup.com — we respond within a maximum of 30 days.
9. Unsubscribing
Every email contains an "Unsubscribe" link; every text message allows you to reply "STOP". Any withdrawal request is processed within a maximum of 10 business days, free of charge.
10. Minors
Our forms are intended for persons 14 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 14 without the consent of the holder of parental authority.
11. Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies. Only essential technical cookies (language choice, session) may be set to make the site work.
12. Privacy incidents
In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec as well as the persons concerned, in accordance with Law 25.
13. Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new update date.
